Ahhh I have enjoyed my day today.....
....You know, this month of being home has been amazing. I love Christmas break, but I've been so groggy from all the laziness. This break really has not been fully taken advantage of. I guess I've preferred a little bit of laziness in contrast to the stressfulness of last semester. Now I'm tired of waking up with the "dead-head".
Back to my day....
This morning I woke up about 7:30 to my little brother and his friend's goofing off before heading to school. Of course, I could not find my way back to sweet dreamland. So, I dragged my sleepy body/mind into the kitchen. *Though I was surprisingly alert, I was still sleepy* My wonderful parents were in the kitchen and my dad was whipping up some delicious pancakes. Yes, I had a wonderful breakfast of sweet, fluffy pancakes and eggs. :) Oh man!
Next....
I find my way to my Aunt Angela's beauty shop where I receive a much needed haircut! I LOVE to get my hair done-- it is a relaxing activity, especially with my wonderfully gifted cousin WASHING my hair. ahhhhh.
Next....
I wondered into Starbucks where again I receive a relaxing treatment; except this treatment is for body and mind--- caffeine and caramel...Need I say more?
Next....
Time to start the lasagna for my mom's birthday dinner. A dinner of Lasagna, rolls, and fresh backed chocolate chip cookies...
Yes, my day was WONDERFUL!!

I see on fb that you're back at college now. My sons left this morning, and while I'm glad for the "noise relief" I loved having them home for a few weeks. They never made it up before noon most days, except Sundays. Gotta keep momma happy.
What fine young men and women you're all becoming. I'm so proud of your hard work last semester. May God keep you in the palm of his hand as you move into this new one.
