Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe (Philippians 2:14-15)
Yes, I went there on this bright and cheery (yeah right) Monday morning. I think most of us would agree that Mondays are pretty hard, even on beautiful days like today. Sorry if it's not actually beautiful where you are right now. On Mondays, I drop things (box of coffee stirrers this morning), I do the Math wrong (I hate Math), I snap at grumpy customers (not proud of that at all), and I complain because it's Monday and I have to go to work (oops). And then I read the words of Paul....
He said, Everything. I want to find a loop-hole. Surely I can complain when I'm yelled at for no good reason, or I'm expected to do things I don't understand, or how about when it's Monday and everything goes wrong.
To be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, I have to lay aside complaining and arguing (saved for another post). Oh boy.
It means taking off my bad mood and putting on the armor of God (Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes Ephesians 6:11),walking in the Spirit (Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit- Galatians 5:24-25).
Yes, it's a typical Monday for me, but may my heart's reaction's be atypical.
In His Name,
Jennifer

Aren't we all looking for that loop-hole most days? Thinking of you as you muddle through. Thanks for stopping by. Praying God's peace for you today.
