Today is my last day of finals for spring semester 2008. I can't wait! After six o'clock, I'll be free!
As much as this excites me, it also makes me nervous. The end of the school year means one step closer to summer. This summer gives me fixed feelings. I'm thrilled, scared, nervous, worried, and happy. I know God is going to do big things. That's the part that excites me. My feelings of inadequacy, on the other hand, cause me to fear. God is so good and dependable. Why can't I trust?
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight." Prov 3:5-6
In the mist of my inadequacy, I refuse to fear. I WILL trust! Chula is my mission field. God has placed me there "for such a time as this". Esther 4:14b
I am beginning to feel the joy and peace...EXCITING!
