Where would I go?

From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. "You do not want to leave too, do you?" Jesus asked the Twelve. Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God" (John 6:66-69).

There isn't much I can say for these words. They speak well on there own. One thing I know, I can't leave Him because I have no where to go.

He speaks Truth to combat the lies- To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:31-32).

His arms welcome me- Come to me all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).

He sings over me because I am His- He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing (Zephaniah 3:17).

His plans for me are good- He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he (Deuteronomy 32:4).

He listens to me- Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge (Psalm 62:8).

His love is everlasting- The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness" (Jeremiah 31:3).

He redeemed me- He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Jesus Christ, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit (Galatians 3:14).

You see, I can't leave.

Where would I go?

In His Name,

Jennifer

Psalm 62:8 is one of my favorites! I have it posted in a prominent place to remind me to run TO Him, not away from Him :)

Thanks, Jadyn! Isn't He wonderful? I'm so regretful that I even try to do things apart from Him.
