J.O.Y.

For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning (Psalm 30:5).

Joy: Sometimes it escapes us; Sometimes it overwhelms us. I've stood on the banks of both rivers. Occasionally, both in the same season. Joy is a fickle thing, but it's ours for the living (But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23). The desposite of the Holy Spirit in you has equipped you with His fruits. Don't miss them {Note to self}.

If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete (John 15:10-11).

Joy made complete. Feels kind of like a pipe dream, right? Yet, in Christ, you (I) can walk through the lowest valley with joy. It's true.

For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands (Isaiah 55:12).

Maybe you're dancing with pure joy this morning, maybe your joyful despite you're circumstances, or maybe you are on an endless search for joy. I don't know. He does.

Joy is yours, Ladies and Gents. Just a little reminder for you and for me.

Joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).

In His Name,
Jennifer

Oh yes. It does, indeed, come in the morning and I'm sensing a sunrise is about to burst forth. You ready for this? :D

Finding Joy in the midst of difficult circumstances can be hard, but I am so glad it does come in the morning.

There have been moments when I've felt that "complete joy" but I have to admit I don't always linger there long enough; I allow worries to creep back in and steal the joy away.

But this encourages me to know it CAN be mine in Christ Jesus. Thanks, Jennifer!

Alene, girl, you just keep right on dancing! It's Friday, and He's good! ;) Thank you!

Lisa, you are speaking my heart. I want to grow in this area- my joy muscles need stretching. :)
