Mission Accomplished

Hi Guys!

My summer mission experience is one I will never forget! I learned a lot and grew in my relationship with Christ.

I'll give a small summary of my summer before I start showing pictures. Through summer missions, I was part of the "South Georgia Youth Worker Program". I was placed in a church in Chula, Georgia were I was their summer intern. Basically, I helped in any way they needed. I worked with three other volunteers. We rotated teaching and planning events. Our youth were mostly boys-the core group was guys! Wow! They were awesome. The pics you will see will be from a lockin, Crossroads camp, a kid's Carnival and our goodbyes. Hope you enjoy!

My summer was quite the learning experience. I have grown closer to God than I have ever been. I grew in a love for His word and my prayer life has grown also. I quickly learned to depend more deeply on Christ. I gained a greater understanding of Grace. Lastly, I learned that apart from God I can do nothing. I've begun to recognize the need for change in aspects of my life and a Savior who is willing to help me the whole way!
In His Love,
Jennifer

Hey Jennifer! I always appreciate your comments on my blog - it's a blessing to know that what I share on there impacts people other than myself!
Looks like you've had an amazing summer! Most importantly, it seems that God has done a lot of work in your heart through the experiences you had. :)
Maybe you've mentiond it on your blog before, but do you know what kind of job you'd like to have when you're done school?
Well - thanks for sharing!

Good to know the kingdom is alive and well in GA. Thanks for sharing your heart with this church. You may never see the seeds you've sown come to full bloom, but they are there. God is faithful to grow them.
