I have read several blogs of people who have/are praying for a verse for the year 2009. This seemed like a really cool idea. So I started praying that God would give me a verse that I could specifically claim/ cling to for 2009. You curious?
The verse I felt like God was leading me to is Micah 6:8.
I first heard this verse from a friend who uses Micah 6:8 as his life verse.
" He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with you God."
I love this verse. It puts the Christian life in a wrapped box with a bow. :)
