For the Hungry...

Have mercy one me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin (Psalm 51:1-2).

You want to feed your soul? Meditate on His grace. The forgiveness you wear, when in His love He blots out you transgressions, is "food for the soul". .

One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling (Psalm 27:4-5).

To dwell with him is to feast on the bread of life.

"For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. 'Sir,' they said, 'from now on give us this bread.' Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty" (John 6:33-35).

My soul finds rest and it's "fullness" by basking in His presence with a "full" awareness of His grace and forgiveness.

Feast today on who our God is. An never-ending supply of energy, the Lord is ready to "fill" you until you overflow with an overwhelming understanding of His goodness.

"Meditate on His grace." Yes, Jennifer. Such a perfect way to feed our souls. The older I get, the more I love meditating on his grace.

"Meditate on His Grace." YES! Exactly. His grace-filled love are what gives, creates, and guides all.

And I always love images of "filling you until you overflow." It's that overflow that allows us to share His love with others!

Good words.

Nikole: :)

Lisa: So true! The older I get the more I get the more I understand His grace!

Sheryl: Thanks! So glad you're jammin' this week!

Caroline: I agree!...I love the cup/overflowing analogy too. It brings light to the "empty" times and reminds us how we effect each other. :)

Jeri: Thank YOU! I know you will be filled!
