Live it Well

{I have a confession. I wrote this post this morning, and I went all day believing I had posted it. My confession is that I'm losing my mind.  Good thing this concept remains the same no matter the day. The End}

Today is the only April 18th 2012 you will ever have. Live it well!

Have you thought lately about the sacredness of each day? This day will not ever come around again. The date will make it's way around the calendar faithfully to return next year, but this day your breathing in today will not. Wow. That means today should count, not that we should be pressured to fill our days to exhaustion, simply live it well.

Want to know how I'm doing that today?

I'm focusing on verses from the word that talk of God's will. Here's a few:

1) For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality (1Thess 4:3).

2) Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus (1 Thess 5:16-18).

3) Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men (1 Peter 2:13-15).

4) And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever (1 John 2:17).

Today is here for a short 24hrs and then it's gone forever. Make it worth your while: {Be available to the Lord. Don't hesitate to follow His lead. Live. Prioritize. Rest. Love. Be obedient. "Do Justice". "Love Kindness". "Walk humbly with your God"}

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8

Enjoy your day- It won't last forever!

In His Name,
Jennifer
